Angaza Afrika

Angaza Afrika is an interactive music video, whose Swahili title translates as Shine on Africa. It brings together five cycles of compositions called Abstracts & Chronicles, A Land Made in Anger, Hours of Iron Slumber, Phantoms & Reflections and Walking with Zimbabwe. This music is accompanied by a set of two dozen Flash micro-movies of variable length, chosen (like the music) by the computer at random. Listeners can alter video or music using button/keys 2-3 or lock both with 1.

Some of the Flash files include images adapted from (colour) news photos published by Afrol News, The American, Arcadia Foundation, CIA, Daily Telegraph, EcoChic Magazine, Frantisek Staud, J L Powers, Josh Weinstein, Kenyan Premier League, Leaders We Deserve, New York Times, Reuters, SALC, the U.S. Department of State and others.
